The new service AutoRip automatically stores free MP3 in Amazon Cloud Player when customers acquire a new CD. They will be available for playback or immediate download. Having acquired a CD, customers will be prompted to go to Cloud Player to listen and download the music. Over 50,000 CDs are AutoRip eligible including albums from every major label, including such hits as Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and Adele’s “21”.According to pcworld.com, AutoRip MP3s boasts a bit rate of 256 Kbps making them equivalent to the high-quality tracks Apple offers with iTunes Match and Google with the new scan-and-match feature on Google Music. Music fans keen to find out whether a CD has a free digital download are advised to look for the AutoRip logo. The service is currently available only in America.
