Andrey Arshavin training with Russian national football team ahead of Euro 2012. (RIA Novosti / Vladimir Pesnya)Arsenal playmaker Andrey Arshavin, who’s sure to leave London this winter, is rumored to be weighing moves to both Italian side Lazio and PSV Eindhoven of the Netherlands. Lazio are ready to offer Arsenal £4 million (around $6.5 million) for the Russian transfer, Italian newspaper Tuttosport reported. The Daily Mail, however, claims that Arshavin is preparing to head to the Netherlands national team. The 31-year-old is reportedly one of PSV Eindhoven coach Dick Advocaat’s favorite players. The two worked on the Russian national team, as well as Zenit Saint Petersburg, winning the 2007 Russian Premier League and UEFA Cup in 2007 and 2008.Arshavin was also made an offer by English Premier League minnows Reading, but turned it down due to the low salary. The Russian, who used to be one of Arsenal’s biggest stars, long ago lost his place in the Gunners’ starting XI, having made only 10 appearances and scoring a single goal this season.
