A Macon, Georgia, police
officer shot and killed Sammie “Junebug” Davis Jr. during a
struggle in a Kroger parking lot. Police at first said the officer
was
trying to serve a warrant on Davis, but they later admitted
there was no warrant. They then claimed the officer was answering a
call. But they’ve refused to answer questions about the conflicting
stories they’ve offered or about exactly what happened in the
parking lot.
