The Buffalo, New York, Veterans
Affairs Medical Center may have exposed hundreds of veterans to
blood-borne diseases such as HIV and Hepatitis B and C. The
hospital has warned patients that staff repeatedly used insulin
pens that should have been used only once and has asked them to be
tested for various diseases.
