Largest Light Painting Ever Was Made By Michael Bosanko… And It’s Awesome (VIDEO)

Some artists paint with a paintbrush and canvas, but Michael Bosanko uses a 35,000 square-foot airport hangar and light as his medium of choice, painting a Halloween-themed lightscape over the massive expanse. Gizmodo calls it the “world’s largest light painting,” which we liked better than “biggest electric sculpture.”Although Bosanko created his pièce de résistance last October, a video is now making the rounds online in which the light artist explains his unbelievable process. Rather than compositing a variety of light paintings for the shot, Bosanko kept his camera shutter open for an entire hour and continuously drew the entire image over the course of this timeframe.Are you craving more light art?
