In an apparent total lack of understanding of what happens when people go to shopping malls, a California security guard this weekend kicked out a young couple for holding hands and kissing at the Westfield Galleria. I ask you, America, if the day is at hand when we can’t walk around kissing our boyfriends at the mall, are they going to clamp down on getting our ears pierced and buying a Cinnabon there, too?The ejection doesn’t seem to have been entirely motivated by their public display of affection. It is worth noting that the smoochy couple singled out by security happens to be gay. Daniel Chesmore, 21, told the local Sacramento Fox affiliate this week, “I kissed him on the cheek. That’s how my boyfriend and I show affection.” And, he said, “This is exactly what we did at the mall on Saturday.” Chesmore adds that when he and his boyfriend, Jose Guzman, were confronted by a security guard, the man told them, “If you continue to kiss, you will be asked to leave the mall. CAIRO — President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Egypt on Tuesday for the first visit by an Iranian leader in more than three decades, marking a historic departure from years of frigid ties between the two regional heavyweights.
Egypt’s Islamist President Mohammed Morsi gave Ahmadinejad a red-carpet welcome on the tarmac at Cairo airport, shaking the Iranian’s hand and exchanging a kiss on each cheek as a military honor guard stood at attention.

Fashion shows are pretty much the safest place in the world to debut an avant-garde look, so, naturally, we’ve become somewhat desensitized. But we definitely didn’t see this one coming. While perusing street style snaps from Haute-Couture Fashion Week in Paris, we noticed a celebrity looking a little… different. To be more specific, Paz Vega turned up at Jean Paul Gaultier’s show looking more like Morticia Addams than herself. Like, she went totally goth out of nowhere. You remember the Spanish actress, right? She’s the gorgeous, Penelope Cruz look-a-like from “Spanglish” and she’s set to star in the upcoming Grace Kelly biopic “Grace Of Monaco.” Or, at least, she was a Penelope Cruz look-a-like. Las Vegas hopes to broaden its appeal to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) travelers with a sizzling new ad campaign.
