An Israeli settler has been killed by a Palestinian in the occupied West Bank whilst waiting for a bus.
According to Israeli media, Evyatar Borovsky was at a bus stop near the Tapuah Junction in the Palestinian city of Nablus when he was stabbed. The Palestinian is then said to have grabbed the victim’s gun before shooting at border police who returned fire before arresting him. It marks the first time an Israeli has been killed by a Palestinian in the West Bank since 2011.
In Gaza, Palestinian emergency services have reported one death following an Israeli air strike. Haytham al-Misshal, who reportedly belonged to the Salafist jihadist group, was hit as he rode a motorbike
Israel claimed that Misshal had been involved in firing rockets at the city of Eilat .

The Israeli military says one of its fighter jets shot down a drone from Lebanon that was approaching its border on Thursday.
They said an F-16 intercepted the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) 9km west of the port city of Haifa.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he was flying in a military helicopter to a public event in the north of the country at the time and briefly had to land as the drone was being intercepted.
It is not believed he was being deliberately targeted however, as his flight plans were not made public.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the alleged aerial infiltration but the Israeli navy is trying to salvage the wreckage from the Mediterranean sea to inspect it for clues.
The last such incident was said to be carried out by Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed Lebanese guerrilla group, which sent a drone into southern Israel last October.

The Israeli military have reported shooting down a drone from Lebanon.
A spokeswoman said, “Three hours ago, an unmanned aerial vehicle was detected by air defence as it was in Lebanese skies and hit when (it) attempted to violate Israeli airspace.”
Reports say the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was was taken down around five miles (8km) west of the northern port of Haifa by a F-16 fighter jet. The navy are apparently searching the sea for the wreckage.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a statement, “I view with great gravity this attempt to violate our border. We will continue to do what is necessary to defend the security of Israel’s citizens.”
This is the second time Israeli forces have intercepted a drone from Lebanon in seven months.
